Our collection of sapphires
Sapphire is a gemstone belonging to the corundum family, renowned for its exceptional hardness (9 on the Mohs scale). It is primarily known for its intense blue color, but can occur in a range of hues, from yellow to pink, green, or even colorless. (The color of red corundum is only called ruby.) The term sapphire comes from the Hebrew “sappir” meaning “the most beautiful thing.”
